Name:   Fritz (Frosted brown bear, Stands 35.5cm (14”))   Description: A delightful medium sized brown bear made in really unusual 17mm frosted brown mohair by Schulte. One of the advantages of attending fairs abroad is that one gets to see what’s really new. Schulte have been experimenting and one fabric supplier at Wiesbaden had a small amount of several of the results; not all the colours were suitable for realistic bears but I was able to buy a little of this superb soft brown tipped with silvery grey. Fritz is made in our well-proportioned design (see photo below); his glass eyes and embroidered nose are all black; he has a little subtle airbrushed detail to his face; his body is a little under-filled with polypellets so he’s very slightly saggy but as you can see, he can still stand and look intelligent when he wants to!! An endearing bear in an unusual fabric and extremely huggable.
