HANGING ON - 17TH ANNIVERSARY BEAR
Mother and cub are made in dense alpaca with quilted 3D polymer pads on ultrasuede (mother’s are part alpaca), enhanced with airbrushed shading. They each have a complex, naturally shaped embroidered nose and the mother’s is combined with a just-open mouth. The mother bear has 7 disk joints (2 in neck+1 in the right wrist; the cub is wobble-jointed and has magnets in his paws and nose – both set-ups facilitate diverse poses. The magnets in the cub link to others in the mother, enabling him to ‘hang on’ in different positions. The mother has brown glass eyes in subtle eyelids.
Mother 40cm (16in) nose to tail and 22cm (9in) at shoulder
Cub 20cm (8in)
