BIRU OPEN MOUTH – 15TH ANNIVERSARY BEAR
In terms of the complexity of the head pattern, that needed for a tri-coloured spectacled bear is one of the hardest and we had a request to include an open mouth as well. The markings are very variable and individual to each spectacled bear. Biru is a very dramatic design based on a tri-coloured variant so 4 different fabrics are used for his head – 24mm black (for majority), 24mm beige for chest, under chin and spectacles; 24mm dense warm brown, 18mm ivory (including a few black hairs) either side of muzzle and lower jaw. He has a black embroidered nose; airbrushed detail; 3D polymer pads on quilted ultrasuede. Firmly stuffed with growler. An absolutely stunning bear whose name is derived from that of a leader of one of the original local tribes and is believed to be the derivation of the country’s name, Peru!
