ISHILD LARGE POLAR BEAR
A beautifully proportioned polar bear in ivory alpaca with extensive detail and possibly the best natural polar bear we have made to date! Jean has redesigned bits of the pattern for this size bear, in particular altering head and the size and shape of the paws and feet that are made in shorter pile alpaca. The dense 24mm alpaca pile used to make Ishild (an old German name meaning ice battle) has been carefully graduated in length on the head and ears and there is airbrushed detail to give the nose, mouth, ears and paws extra definition. The ivory 3D pads are each in 2 parts and again the pad shape has been enhanced with airbrushing and quilting. Ishild has black glass eyes; a very realistic head profile together with a naturally shaped embroidered nose, a little tail, 8 joints (double neck and one in each wrist) and a body firmly but flexibly filled with polypellets. This bear looks stunning whether sitting, standing or lying out.
