EYDIS LARGE POLAR WITH OPEN MOUTH
A beautifully proportioned polar bear in ivory mohair on a dark backing with extensive detail and one of the best natural polar bears we have made to date! Jean has redesigned the head to incorporate our superb, just-open mouth. The dense 24mm mohair pile used to make Eydis (an old Icelandic name meaning Isle Goddess) has been carefully graduated in length on the head and ears and there is airbrushed detail to give the nose, mouth, ears and paws extra definition. The ivory 3D pads are each in 2 parts and again the pad shape has been enhanced with airbrushing and quilting. Eydis has black glass eyes; a very realistic head profile with a naturally shaped embroidered nose combined with the subtle open mouth, a little tail, 8 joints (double neck and one in each wrist) and a body firmly but flexibly filled with polypellets. This bear looks absolutely stunning whether sitting, standing or lying out.
