BERENYETI (BROWN BEAR STANDS 44CM (17.5INCHES))
The design for Berenyeti is loosely based on a brown or grizzly bear. He’s made in an unruly, 35mm pile, brown mohair, contrasted with slightly shorter black sections on his muzzle and chest – the 35mm pile has had to be been skilfully trimmed, and scissor sculpted especially around his paws. He has a wonderfully embroidered nose, quilted 3D polymer pads on black ultrasuede, a firmly stuffed head and limbs and a body filled with polypellets. We have used 8 joints (2 in the neck and one in each wrist so he can turn his paws as we do our hands). His name is a combination of “Beren” meaning bear and Yeti from his rather long, wild coat!
