ANMANA (REALISTIC POLAR BEAR ON ALL FOURS STANDS 8.5IN 21CM TO SHOULDER, LENGTH 16IN 41CM)
In the Inuit language, the word anmana has something to do with snowdrifts and wind eddies. Since this design is based on the pattern for Snowdrift, but is modified so to produce a polar bear that looks as if he is walking, the name seems very appropriate. He is made from 25mm ivory alpaca on a cream backing (so it does not look too white) and it is just wonderful to hold and stroke. Anmana has black glass eyes, realistic 3D polymer pads on dark cream ultrasuede, and a little tail; in addition he has a beautifully embroidered natural looking nose and is firmly stuffed with polyester
